Newent Onion Fayre

I was coaching for YAP on the weekend, at the fayre what an amazing day!! we managed to coach 209 kids on the Newent town lake in 7 hours. The EA were hand with the aquarium in which we managed to put in Roach,skimmers,perch and an eel,this provided a lot of interest by passers by.

The weather stayed fine all day and all the kids went home with a whip and a goodie bag.

Well done to all the members of YAP for the professional day.

Great weather after all

After the worry of sundays weather it turned out to be the best day of all,the sun was out and the wind kept low so the kids found it a lot easier to cast out.

Thats Better

Friday and Saturday weather turned out to be far better at the Plump.The three guys in the photo managed to catch over 70 fish between them on Saturday morning.

We have heard that the forecast is not good for Sunday,so fingers crossed ( theres enough mud there as it is )

Saturday afternoon fished well,although a big disappointment that 5 people failed to show up to the event.
