We finally had some lovely weather for the Hope Support Services session at the Plump Pool. There were plenty of skimmers and Roach caught. Only one lonely carp put in an appearance from the famous carp peg on the dirt bank. All ten of the young people managed to catch fish. |

Sarah & Ricardo came up to the Plump Wednesday evening for a two hour taster session. The lake didn't fish as well as would have liked but both the guys still managed to catch a fair few skimmers and Roach. The Carp failed to show once again. Thanks for an enjoyable session guys. |

Lee Hartley and his mates came along to the Plump Pool on a damp and dismal weekend. Two three hour sessions provided some good small fish sport with lots of skimmers and roach caught mainly on maggot. The Carp failed to show due to the cold water temperature. Lee (pictured) managed the strangest catch of the day hooking a pair of Speedo's off the bottom (No pun intended) |

The great British weather forced the cancellation of the first of this years Hope Support Services event on the weekend.A trip up to the Plump on Saturday proved i had made the correct decision in calling off the event for the day.As well as the snow the Pool was half frozen. |

The Osbourne family from Kent were holidaying in the area and decided to come along for a two and a half hour angling taster session.The evening turned out to be a fine sunny evening after having heavy showers in the day. Jody, Dave, Katie, Liam and Jack all managed to catch a fair few fish.Skimmer Bream, Roach, Rudd and Carp were all caught. Mum Jody (pictured) and Liam both managed to catch Carp weighing in at lb3.4oz. More photos on the gallery |
